Elmira, NY – The Arc of Chemung announces it will be hosting their Inaugural Golf Tournament on Monday, May 23, 2016. To be held at The Elmira Country Club, this golf tournament will provide much needed support to Southern Tier Industries (STI), a division of The Arc of Chemung.

STI provides training and employment opportunities to individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. STI is dedicated to developing vocational skills and work habits in order for individuals we support to be employed at local businesses. To date, 172 individuals in Chemung County receive supports from STI.

The tournament will be a four-player scramble format offering prizes opportunities throughout the day. Tournament day check-in begins at 11:00 AM with lunch served at 11:15 AM and a shotgun start at 12:00 PM. Registration is $110 per player, which includes lunch, 18 holes of golf, cart, and buffet dinner. Teams are encouraged but not required. Corporate, team, and individual sponsorships opportunities are available, ranging from $125 to $1,500.
