Elmira, NY – The Arc of Chemung is pleased to announce that Mr. Sean Eagen will be filling a new position, Associate Executive Director for Programs.
“Throughout 2015, we had been working with a national consultant, Mr. Tom Adams, to make sure we remain a strong Agency as we move forward,” said Michael A. Doherty, Ph.D., The Arc of Chemung’s Executive Director. “Tom conducted a "sustainability study" to help us in this regard. One of the things we realized is that we needed to create a new position,” Doherty added.
For the last 17 years, Mr. Eagen has led The Arc of Chemung's Residential Program through significant growth in his role as the Residential Director. He has a wealth of leadership and management experience, with 17 years at The Arc of Chemung, and 19 years at Glove House. Mr. Eagen will be starting his new position by attending the prestigious Leadership Institute, sponsored by the National Consortium on Developmental Disabilities at the University of Delaware later in January.
